Wednesday 1st February 2023 saw a the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, Right Worthy Brother Christian A. Givvons visit Bury Conclave No.80, accompanied by members of his Provincial team of the year.

The meeting was held at Ashday Lea at Rawtenstall.

Following the Conclave being opened by Wy.Bro. David Bega, there was a knock on the door and it was the Deputy Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, Wy. Bro. Aiden Murphy, who announced that the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler was stood without and that he demanded admission.

Following the procession of Acting Provincial Officers into the Conclave Christian was offered the gavel, which he promptly returned to the Supreme Ruler telling him, he knew he had put a lot of work into the planning of the evening as he knew there was to be an induction into the Order.

What followed was a fantastic ceremony of induction, which saw Bro. Craig Halliday join the Order of the Secret Monitor. A ceremony which he truly appeared to enjoy and which saw the address to the candidate and the weapons delivered excellently by no other than the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, V.Wy.Bro. Stephen Holcroft.

The brethren all then retired downstairs for a tremendous feast at the social board.
It was a magnificent evening enjoyed by all.
