Well New to Them

It was an interesting night, with a new piece of ritual which is not offer seen for many when the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler took his team to visit Bury Conclave No.80.

On entering the Conclave, R.Wy.Bro. Christian A. Givvons, the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler was welcomed and offered the gavel of The Conclave and this occasion he accepted it and took the chair.

The reason being he had some important work to complete with was the dedication of a new charity plate, when I say new, it was new to them as it was made in the 12th Century as a church alms plate.
It was seen on an online auction site by one of the members, V.Wy.Bro. Peter J. Morgan P.G.V. and as Bury Conclave did not have a collection plate he bid on the item and won it.

Peter then donated it to the conclave, hence the Provincial Supreme Ruler and his team of officers attending the conclave to conduct a dedication ceremony. Following which Peter had the honour of taking the first collection using the plate.
