The Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler of The Province of East Lancashire, Right Worthy Brother Frank George Hood Smith and the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, Worthy Brother Christian Givvons, along with Brethren from across the Province, attended The Roses in Concord Conclave number 185 at Mill House Clayton Le Moors,when they recently celebrated the Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Conclave.
They, along with 5 Brethren from the Province of West Yorkshire including the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, Very Worthy Brother John Marrison, were treated to an evening which included many of the Original items from that very first meeting.
The Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler directed a large portion of the Business, after accepting the Gavel and occupying the Chair.

A portion of Holy writ, taken from the 1st Book of Samuel Chapter 16 Verses 1-13 was read by Wy. Bro. Christian Givvons and Very Wy. Bro. John Marrison
Rt. Wy Bro Frank G H Smith read the Oration from the Consecration, then the Supreme Ruler paraded the Warrant around the Conclave, whilst the Brethren sang Psalm 133 “Behold how good and joyful a thing it is; Brethren to dwell together in unity.”
The Names of the Founders were then read out and all present stood to Order in Honour of Departed Merit.
The Supreme Ruler of the Conclave was then returned to the Chair and the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, presented him with a framed Jubilee Certificate and congratulated him and the Conclave on achieving this milestone.
On completion of the normal business, the Brethren withdrew to the Social Board and enjoyed a meal which was a duplicate of the very first Consecration Banquet, where a toast to the Founders was proposed by the Supreme Ruler and another to the Future of the Conclave was proposed by the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler
