The Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler of our Province, WyBro Christian Givvons, recently got his first chance to commission a new Supreme Ruler. At the installation meeting of Supera Moras Conclave No 49 Bro Aiden Murphy was placed into the chair by the outgoing ruler, WyBro Derek Oliver.

Following the installation he was taken to the South East corner and commissioned as a Ruler in the Order by Christian. It is a unique part of the ritual of the order that following this additional part of the installation it then allows the new Supreme Ruler to take the chair in any Conclave of Secret Monitors.

Supera Moras is another example of ‘Saturday Secret Monitors’ being one of the two Conclaves that meet on a Saturday. It is an internet Conclave and meets at various venues including Tapton Hall in Sheffield, Rawtenstall and the next meeting in April is to be held at Westhoughton. The brethren travel long distances in many cases to attend and at this recent meeting some had travelled from Essex, The Midlands and Sheffield.

It is one of the biggest Conclaves with 32 members and is always well supported by visiting brethren. All the details of this and all our Conclaves can be found on the Provincial calendar so look out for details of what the Saturday Conclaves have in store!
