The province organised a day out at Robinson’s Brewery at Stockport. The journey was made by coach and upon arrival the brethren and their partners were treated to a guided tour around the brewery. The guide gave an informative talk explaining how the beer is brewed. Every one enjoyed the tour and some felt that they were partial to the odd tipple but had not realized how their favorite pint was made!
Following the tour a nice ‘pub lunch’ was served and there was a chance to sample some of the beers that are brewed by Robinson’s. Every one enjoyed the day and it is hoped that other trips can be organised in the future.
